Dunbar Heights Baptist Church is committed to making Jesus known in the city of Vancouver.
We have been ministering the Gospel for over 80 years on the West side of Vancouver near the UBC campus. We encourage you to read our mission statement and our history.
As a people continually being renewed by the gospel, we will be ministers of gospel renewal in our city and world that brings about personal conversion, strengthened relationships, authentic community, and a flourishing society.

TIME & PLACE?
We gather on Sundays at 10:30 AM for our worship service. We are located at 3320 Crown St. (map). Our service offers a partial children’s program for children in Kindergarten to Grade 5.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT YOUR SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE?
On an average Sunday morning, we gather at DHBC to worship God through singing, public prayer, biblical preaching, and celebrating the Lord's Supper. Our dress tends towards casual but that never discourages the occasional suit and tie.
Our music sets are marked by a creative integration of contemporary songs, classic hymns, corporate confessions, responsive readings, and ancient creeds. We also allocate a time to worship God through giving of our finances and for quiet reflection. At this point in the service we participate in communal prayer for our city and world and then dismiss the children to their own kid's worship time.
Our sermons are expository, meaning the main point of the message is the main point of the passage we are studying. They typically last between 30-40 minutes and are recorded weekly. Following the sermon we celebrate what God has done for us through Jesus Christ by celebrating the Lord's Supper. Every first Sunday of each month our members reaffirm our church covenant.
After the service, we invite everyone to enjoy some light refreshments together.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
We encourage our families to worship together. The children join the adults through the worship singing and then are then dismissed to KID'S Church. Parents of may bring their children to their appropriate rooms and sign their children in and out.

HOW CAN I GET CONNECTED AT DHBC?
You can get involved in a number of ways, when you visit us fill out a DHBC connect card and drop it off at the welcome centre. Someone from our welcome team will contact you and be available to answer any questions you may have. If you want to learn more about Jesus and what it means to follow him, you can come talk to our pastors or someone from the welcome team on Sundays or contact our office during the week. We would love to talk with you anytime.
If you’re looking for community, we highly recommend joining a home group. Our groups meet across town in local homes throughout the week. If you are looking for opportunities for deeper learning, consider joining a GROW pod that focuses on intentional discipleship.
